Internship in the CBBH

Internship Program at the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Central Bank offers the opportunity for final-year undergraduate students from public higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina to complete an internship at the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The goal of the internship is to provide students with practical experience and to complement the knowledge acquired during their studies.

The application for the internship must be submitted using the official application form of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina and sent to the Human Resources Department.

Students who meet the criteria of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina for participation in the internship program will receive a decision confirming their internship placement. Students who do not meet the criteria will be informed about the status of their application via email.

During the internship, each student will be assigned a mentor – an official of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina – who will supervise them throughout the internship period. Under the mentor’s guidance, students will participate in the work of the organizational unit to which they are assigned, with the aim of gaining practical experience and improving skills and knowledge in their field of study.

The internship lasts a maximum of 20 working days.

Research Internship at the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina

In addition to final-year undergraduate students, the Central Bank, depending on its capacities and available resources, may also offer internship opportunities to postgraduate and doctoral students from public higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina who are conducting research on topics related to banking and central banking.

The application for the research internship must be submitted using the official application form of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After reviewing the application, the student or academic researcher will be informed of the application status. If approved, the candidate will receive a decision confirming the internship. If the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina is unable to provide the internship, the candidate will be notified via email.

During the research internship, the student or academic researcher will be assigned a mentor – an official of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina – who will supervise and support them during the internship period.
