Member of the CBBH Governing Board, Radomir Božić, PhD Radomir Božić was born in 1960 in Olovo, where he completed elementary school and gymnasium. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo in 1983. On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, he was declared one of the five most successful students in its so farhistory. At the same Faculty, in 1989 he defended his Master thesis entitled "High Technologies, Structural Changes and Development of Economic Entities", and his Ph.D. dissertation with the topic "Financing Companies and the Financial Market" at the Faculty of Economics in Priština, in 1996. From 1984 to 1992, he worked as an assistant and research associate at the Institute for Organization and Economics in Sarajevo. In school year 1985/86 he worked as an assistant - external associate of the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, at the Military Academy in Sarajevo with the major in Finance. From 1992 to 1994, he worked as the financial Director of state company "Vezionica" Zvornik. From 1994 to 1996, he was an assistant at the subject "Finance" at the Faculty of Economics of the University in Priština, from 1996 to 1999, as an assistant professor, he taught "Banking" at this Faculty, and at the Faculty of Economics of the University of East Sarajevo "Balance Sheet Analysis" subject. From 1999 to 2002, he was an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of East Sarajevo in the scientific field of financial management, institutions and markets. Since 2002, he has been an associate professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of East Sarajevo on the subject "Business Analysis and Audit", he also teaches "Financial Institutions and Markets" on the regular studies, and he is,as well, a lecturer in the postgraduate study. He taught "Corporate Financial Reporting" at the Faculty of Economics of the University in Banja Luka, and was also engaged in the Master study at this Faculty. Since March 2008, he has been a full-time professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University in East Sarajevo, specialized in Business Finance and Accounting and Auditing. He was a member of the Commission for Accounting and Audit of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Commission for Securities of Republika Srpska in the first convocation, and from 2006 to 2009 he was a member of the Audit Committee of "Elektroprenos BiH" ad Banja Luka. In two mandates, he was a member of the Senate of the University in East Sarajevo. In the period from 2009 to 2017, he was the Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH), from 2018 to 2022, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Pale University in East Sarajevo. He participated in preparation of a large number of scientific research projects, he published more than 50 papers in scientific and professional journals, proceedings from scientific meetings, conferences and symposia, as well as nine monographs and books. During his engagement at Post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Economics in East Sarajevo, he was a Mentor on the preparation of three Ph.D. dissertations, 16 Master theses and ten Master papers. He is an certified auditor and investment manager. He has also been engaged as a lecturer at training seminars for accountants, auditors and internal auditors in the Republika Srpska. He has been a member of the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period from 2020 to the end of 2023. By the decision of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he was reappointed as a member of the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for a term of six years, starting on January 3, 2024.
