Intaglio printing Intaglio printing is used on the front side of the banknote in the marked areas and can be felt with the fingertips. Optically variable ink The denomination number in the upper right corner of the front side of the banknote is printed with a special optically variable ink. When the banknote is tilted at a certain viewing angle, the color shifts from golden brown to dark olive.
