News and Announcements Public Announcements Euro Arrived in the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina Amount of 15 million euro arrived today (Friday, December 14,2001) in the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Euro will be distributed to the commercial banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the first working day in January 2002, because the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina is obliged by Deutsche Bundesbank that euro will not be distributed before January 1,2002 when it will be put into the circulation in the countries of European Monetary Union. Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina decided that its fee for the commercial banks for buying of euro will be 0,1 percent in order to cover the costs.
