Presentation of the project Imrovement of the Human Resources Management Process in the CBBH

The presentation of the project "Improvement of human resources management process in the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina" was organized in the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project was developed with the support of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, within the framework of the Program of strengthening the public institutions, considering the role and importance of human resources management for the European integration process and the principles of generating knowledge through the work of the inter-institutional working groups of the Program for strengthening the public institutions. Implementation of the project was realized by German Corporation for International Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit - GIZ), on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the CBBH and GIZ, in September 2014.

"The aspiration of Bosnia and Herzegovina to join the European Union includes adjustment to the EU rules and standards and requires reforms. Expert's and financial support of GIZ is extremely valuable to us and we very much appreciate that GIZ remains committed to provide support to the CBBH, since the strong and stable CBBH contributes to the better preparedness of the country for European obligations", said the Governor of the CBBH Senad Softić, Ph. D., during the presentation.

The CBBH has earlier recognized the need to improve human resources management system and thanks to the cooperation with GIZ, there have been opened the opportunities for the development of information system for human resource management (HRMIS), which aimed to automation of processes within the Human Resources Department, the timely provision of information on all aspects of human resource management, improving of the exchange of information between different organizational unit, creating a database on human resources and establishment of the necessary records.

The CBBH undertook the ownership of the project activities and processes. The biggest advantage of this system is the fact that the CBBH wants to improve business processes, as well as the existence of the readiness and the potentials that this system is maintained and developed in the future, aiming to implement the strategic objectives and tasks of the CBBH.
