The CBBH Allocated a Part of the Profit to the Budget of BH Institutions 4/7/2016 Tweet On 7 April 2016, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) allocated the amount of BAM 18,826,744.16 to the budget of BH institutions, according to the Decision of the CBBH Governing Board about the distribution of the net profit that the CBBH earned in 2015. Net profit of the CBBH for 2015, amounts to BAM 31,377,906.94. Out of this amount, in accordance with Article 27 of the CBBH Law, 60% , i.e. the amount of BAM 18,826,744.16 was transferred to the account of liabilities towards the Budget of BH institutions, while 40%, i.e. BAM 12,551,162.78 was allocated to the CBBH general reserves. The performed financial result is satisfactory, taking into consideration the situation in the financial markets. Interest rates in the money market were declining continuously, recording even negative values, and the same trend had also the yields on the capital market. This made the investment of foreign exchange reserves even more complex, while taking in account that the range of investments in certain financial instruments is determined very rigidly by the CBBH Law. Since 2004, when the implementation of Article 27 of the CBBH Law started, the CBBH transferred around BAM 421 million, including part of the profit for 2015, to the account of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is in charge of the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina institutions.
