Meeting of the Standing Committee for Financial Stability Held 11/7/2016 Tweet The regular meeting of the Standing Committee for Financial Stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held on 7 November, 2016 in Sarajevo. The meeting was focused on the status of a set of laws, being drafted in both BH Entities and referring to the banking sector, as well as on the status of the Law on Deposit Insurance in Banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Considering that this set of regulations is a key component of the program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Standing Committee for Financial Stability gave full support to the competent authorities in the timely development of a package of laws in the banking sector. The meeting was chaired by the Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) Mr. Senad Softić, Ph.D. and was attended by the Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Vjekoslav Bevanda, Minister of Finance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ms. Jelka Milićević, a representative of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Srpska Ms. Snježana Rudić, Acting Director of the Banking Agency of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Dragan Serdar, Director of the Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Zlatko Barš and Director of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Josip Nevjestić. The meeting was also attended by the IMF Resident Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Francisco Parodi.
