The CBBH Governor led BH delegation at the IMF and WB Spring Meetings in Washington 4/13/2019 Tweet Sarajevo, 13 April 2019 The Delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by the Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH), Senad Softić, PhD, is attending the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (SB), which are taking place in Washington, from April 12 until April 14, 2019. The Delegation held series of meetings with the IMF and WB high officials, including meetings to highlight, such as those with the Deputy Managing Director of the IMF, Tao Zhang, the Director of the IMF's European Department, Poul Thomsen, the WB Vice President for Europe and Central Asia, Cyril Muller, the IMF Executive Director, Anthony De Lannoy, the IMF Alternate Executive Director Richard Doornbosch, World Bank Executive Director Koen Davidse and with Head of the IMF Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina Martin Petri. Discussions with the IMF high officials, among other things, also covered the topic of cooperation and the IMF program with Bosnia and Herzegovina which is currently at a standstill. The IMF expressed readiness to continue the negotiations as soon as all necessary conditions are met. The meeting of the Dutch-Belgian Constituency, which was attended by the Governor of the CBBH, covered topics of the global economic context, possibilities and policies. Global economic forecasts for 2019 were also presented during the meeting. The Governor also held several bilateral meetings related to the cooperation between the CBBH and the IMF through the technical assistance program.
