Municipality Centar has not fulfilled its obligations based on the CBBH requirements 12/27/2021 Tweet The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) informs the public that until today, December 27, 2021, the Municipality Centar has not fulfilled its obligations under the CBBH requirements, regarding the acceptance of an alternative location for construction of the Sarajevo Main Unit building. The promises made to meet the requirements have not been fulfilled. Although the Municipality administration, headed by Mayor Srđan Mandić, at the meeting held on 19 October 2021, firmly and decisively assured the CBBH representatives that it would fulfil all the set requirements within the defined deadline, and that it would make every effort to create preconditions related to the change of location, according to the submitted proposals of the Municipality Centar, this has not happened, unfortunately. On the same day, the public was informed about the meeting and the obligations expected to be fulfilled by the Municipality Centar. The CBBH will demand protection of its rights in court. Given that this attitude towards the CBBH is another in a series of confirmations of frivolity and ignorant attitude towards the state investor, we want to make it clear that the CBBH will demand further protection of its interests, and legally acquired property rights only through the courts, insisting upon the identification of individual responsibility of all stakeholders, who in any way participated in the violation of legal deadlines and knowingly avoided the implementation of applicable legislation in the process of resolving the CBBH requirements. The CBBH will persist in its intention to use its legitimate and legally acquired right of ownership for the purposes for which it is intended and in accordance with the concluded contract.
