CBBH implements its mandate defined by law and operates in accordance with applicable regulations 5/11/2022 Tweet Regarding the intention to organize a meeting in front of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) premises, we would like to reject all allegations of the meeting organizer. We believe that this is a continuation of continuous pressure on this institution in order to destabilize and endanger the reputation and integrity of the state institution competent for conducting monetary policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We emphasize that behind the organization of this gathering is a former CBBH employee, who is misusing public space and trying to put pressure on the CBBH for purely personal interests. The CBBH has repeatedly informed the public about a number of violations that this person has committed and continues to commit, and whose existence has been confirmed in the decisions of the competent court. It is known that the person endangered the transport of money, and after that he endangered the security of the employees and property of the CBBH, which is why criminal charges were initiated against this person. While pointing out the alleged illegalities which are reduced to the inscriptions and banners, without any evidence, at the same time, the above mentioned person refuses to accept requests from the CBBH for the funds reimbursement based on court decisions ruled in favor of the CBBH. We witness the period when social platforms are used as means for unlimited distribution of untruth and manipulation with some groups of people, while state institutions of the highest importance represent means for self-promotion of informal groups and organisations. The CBBH supports civil activism focused on democratisation of the society and strengthening of the state and its institutions, instead of promotion of personal interests of individuals. In a very complicated situation in the country and globally, the CBBH proudly points out that it is an institution of BH which implements all its legal authorities without exception and operates according to applicable laws, despite numerous pressures which it continuously suffers, receiving appreciation and rewards mainly from international institutions and organisations, which recognise the importance of the CBBH and devoted and responsible work of its employees. We will certainly protect those values in the period ahead as well, and we will not develop or tolerate idleness and irresponsible attitude towards very important operations carried out within the institution. The CBBH has been defined by Constitution, and has a highly important function for the country, and as such, it represents one of the pillars of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while attacks, pressures and efforts to deteriorate the reputation of this institution make us more determined in our intentions to preserve the integrity and trust which the citizens of our country have in the CBBH.
