Number and Value of RTGS and Giro Clearing Transactions in 2005 1/25/2006 Tweet The total number of RTGS and giro clearing transactions has increased by 7, 8% in 2005 and their value has increased by 27, 5% compared to 2004. Over the period from January 1 until December 31, 2005, the total of 22.909.427 transactions were performed in the RTGS (urgent and transactions larger than KM 10.000) and in the giro clearing (lower value transactions), in the total value of KM 36 billion. During 2005, ten banks accounted for around 72% in the total number of RTGS and giro clearing transactions and for around 60% in the total value of all transactions. In January this year, the BH Payments System has marked its Fifth Anniversary.
