The CBBH is publishing the estimate of core and services sector inflations for February 2026 3/25/2026 Tweet Based on the available, official statistics on consumer price indices in BH, and the corresponding weights, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) estimated (LINK) the annual core inflation at 4.19%., for the first two months of 2026. The annual growth of average consumer prices in the service sector is estimated at 4.73%. Domestic inflationary pressures are still strong, which is implied by the almost unchanged rate of core and the services sector inflations, despite the expected weakening of the base effect of the unprecedented increase in the minimum wage in 2025. The CBBH's estimate of core inflation based on official statistical data is 69 bp above our estimate from the December nowcast, round, due to regular changes in the official statistical weightings for the sub-sections included in the calculation of core inflation. According to official statistical data, the levels of annual core inflation and inflation in the service sector, for the first two months of 2026, slightly weakened compared to the levels recorded for the entire previous year (Graph 1).
