The CBBH publishes the estimate of core and inflation in the services sector for September 2026 10/27/2026 Tweet Based on the available official statistics for consumer price indices in BH, and the corresponding weights, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) has estimated (LINK) the annual core inflation for the first nine months of 2026 at 4.33%. The annual growth of average consumer prices in the services sector is estimated at 4.59%. The CBBH estimate of core inflation based on official statistical data is identical to our estimate of core inflation from the September round nowcast, i.e. it is lower by only 1 bp. The levels of annual core inflation and inflation in the services sector in the first nine months of 2026 remained at similar levels as during the previous year, which confirms the persistence of domestic inflationary pressures (Graph 1). The trends in overall inflation are currently significantly influenced by external factors due to rising energy prices on the international market and their spillover to domestic prices.
