Presentation on The Third Stage of Establishing of the Single Transaction Account Registry in BH

A presentation on Single Transaction Account Registry in BH- external access to users via Internet, will be held in the organization of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) on Friday 18 March 2005 at 13:00 hours (the CBBH building in Sarajevo).

Invitations for the presentation have been sent to the state and entities institutions, primarily to the Ministries of justice, Ministries of finances, Tax Administrations, Customs Administrations, Banking Agencies...

The CBBH also invites other interested institutions, primarily courts, attorney's offices and prosecutor's offices at all levels to attend this presentation.

The presentation will provide the information on how users will be able to connect and which data from the Single Transaction Account Registry they can obtain by means of the Internet connection.

The Single Transaction Account Registry has been established on 5 July 2004 and so far its users have been legal and physical entities that were forced to ask for the collection of their claims by compulsory measures through the authorized institutions.

Upon the third stage of establishment of Single Transaction Account Registry financial institutions will, by direct access via Internet connection, obtain data from the Registry with the aim to discover structures and transactions, which can be used in an illegal way, such as tax evasion and money laundering.
