The CBBH Governor at a Meeting of the Central Banks Governor's Club in Romania

The Governor of the Central bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) Peter Nicholl attended a meeting of the Central Bank Governors' Club of the Balkan, Black Sea and Central Asia Region in Timisoara, Romania on October 15 and 16, 2004.

The Governors' Club, which was formed in 1999, has 14 member countries and meets twice a year.

The meeting discussed current issues in monetary policy, the implications for global policies of the economic emergence of Asia, the experience of the EU Stability and Growth Pact and country presentations.

The meeting also decided to invite the National Bank of Montenegro to join the Club and that the National Bank of Russia will be the host and Chairman of the Club for 2005 and 2006.
