The CBBH Will Participate in the Second International Meeting of the Businesspersons in Novi Sad

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate in the Second International Meeting between businesspersons from Novi Sad and Vojvodina and businesspersons from cities of former Yugoslavia and European Union, which will be held on 21 and 22 June 2004 in Novi Sad.

In discussion with Delegation of Organization Committee of the Second Meeting of businessmen, which was held today, March 2 in the CBBH premises, the CBBH Vice Governors Kemal Kozarić and Ljubiša Vladušić supported organizing of that event and expressed readiness of the CBBH to participate in the part related to the banking sector.

As it was anticipated, one of topics of Meeting of businesspersons, which aims to develop present and establish the new business relations, will be programs of the international financial and other institutions for improvement in economics cooperation in the area of former Yugoslavia.

During the discussion, the CBBH representatives stressed the results in development of the banking sector in BH and placed a special emphasis on the reform of the payment system in BH, which was implemented in the most successful fashion compared to the all countries in region.

It was stated it is necessary to animate a large number of businesspersons from BH and other towns of former Yugoslavia for an upcoming meeting in Novi Sad in order to exchange opinions and to be able to establish cooperation.

Discussion of the CBBH representatives with Delegation of Organization Committee that was led by Chairman of the Executive Council of Vojvodina Đorđe Đukić was attended by Ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro to BH Stanimir Vukićević.

The CBBH representatives attended the First Meeting of businesspersons, which was held in June 2003 in Sarajevo.
