Governor Nicholl Welcomes the Decision of the Presidency of BH on the New Governing Board of the CBBH

Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) Peter Nicholl welcomed the decision of the Presidency of BiH on the new Governing Board of the CBBH that will commence in August, 2003.

Governor is sure that the new Board will continue the successful and stable policies that the current Board has implemented during their six year mandate.

Governor Nicholl also thanked the Presidency for the confidence they have shown in him by reappointing him to the Governing Board.

"I am very pleased to be able to continue my work in the CBBH", Governor. Nicholl said. "But it is my desire to finish my term on 31 December, 2004. I am pleased that the Presidency has indicated their support for Kemal Kozaric to become the Governor from that time. I have worked closely with Mr. Kozaric over the last four years and I am confident that we will be able to continue to work very closely together over the next 18 months to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibility from 1 January, 2005", Governor Nicholl concluded.
