Deadline for the DEM Coins Exchange Ends on November 30

Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina reminds once again that November 30, 2001 is a final deadline until which the Central Bank will collect German Mark (DEM) coins from commercial banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina and transfer them to the country of origin (Germany).

During the previous deadline, which was the January 31 this year, the largest quantity of DEM coins has been collected in the total value of 15 million DEM, i.e. KM.

Considering that there is a certain quantity of DEM coins that are still in the circulation in BH, Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has set up the period from November 15 to November 30 as the last deadline for collection of DEM coins from the commercial banks.

This does not exclude the possibility that commercial banks might collect and transfer the DEM coins, after this deadline on their own arrangements, without CBBH.
