7/25/2001

The Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina on its 10th session this year, held on Tuesday July 24,2001, discussed the Financial Report and Budget performance for the first 6 months of 2001.
The Session was chaired by the Governor of the Central Bank of  BH Peter Nicholl. It was established that the total profit of the Central Bank of BH is KM 27, 8 million, which is by 6 million more than planned. Total expenditures were by 2, 6 million less than provided by the budget. Therefore, the profit of the Central Bank of BH during the first six months of this year was two times larger (KM 17, 8 million) than planned (KM 8, 77 million). During the second half of the year, it is expected that the profit will decrease because of interest rates decrease in European banks. The CBBH Governing Board accepted the rebalance of budget for 2001.
