Positive Trend of the Sale of the Convertible Mark in Republika Srpska

The sale of Convertible Mark in Republika Srpska up to July 16, 2001 is higher than the perchase for 500 million KM. However until July 16,2001 Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina sold to the commercial banks in Republika Srpska 1.293.952.345,45 KM and bought 793.609.455,63 KM.
The trend of the increased sale of Convertible Mark in Republika Srpska has been noticed during whole year and for example the balance of selling and buying in June was 18 million KM and in May it was 28 million KM.
From 1998, when Convertible Mark was put in the circulation until July 16,2001 Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina sold to the commercial banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina the total of 3.947.646.830,91 KM and purchased from them 3.115.452.991,77 which means that the net sale of KM has the positive trend of 832.193.839,14 KM up to July 16,2001.
