Exchange of Convertible Mark in FR Yugoslavia as Well

On Monday, June 25, 2001, contract was signed in Belgrade between the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Eksim Bank from Belgrade and the Vojvodjanska Bank from Novi Sad about purchase and sale of Bosnian currency - Convertible Mark in those two banks. On behalf of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina the contract was signed by the Governor Peter Nicholl, and on behalf of Eksim bank a contract was signed by Cedo Petrovic, Director and on behalf of Vojvodjanska banka Executive Director Dragan Radjenovic.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina also met the Governor of the National Bank of FR Yugoslavia Mladjan Dinkic. It was discussed about implementation of Annex C about division of assets of ex-SFRY, i.e. financial assets. Also information was exchanged about banking sector position in both countries. On Wednesday, June 27, 2001, contract was signed in Podgorica with Jugobanka Podgorica about purchase and sale of Convertible Mark. The delegation of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina also met with Milojica Dakic, chief executive of the Central Bank of Montenegro. So far the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed such contracts with banks in eight European countries - Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland.
