Distribution of the Golden Reseres of Former SFRY in BIS

On June 13, 2001 Bank for International Settlements in Basle (hereinafter BIS) transferred the assets in the golden reserves and deposits of the National Bank of former SFRY in the value of 131 million Convertible Marks (KM) in the account of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina in BIS.
The distribution of the golden reserves and foreign currency deposits of former National Bank of SFRY in BIS was done according to the agreement, achieved by the states successors of the former SFRY at the negotiations on the property succession from April 9 to 11, 2001 in Brussels.
Out of the total value of the golden reserves and foreign currency deposits, which value on the day of June 13, 2001 amounts to 403,5 million USA dollars, Bosnia and Herzegovina received 13,2%, which is close to 57 million USA dollars or 131 million of Convertible Marks.
