Visit of the Bank of Albania Delegation

Bank of Albania Delegation, featuring Vice Governor Fatos Ibrahimi and the Head of the Department for the Information Technology Sokol Qeraxhiu, are in two days visit (February, 26 and 27, 2001) to the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main reason of their visit is informing about the setting of new payments system in BH. At the beginning of their visit, the delegation of Bank of Albania was received by Governor of the Central Bank of BH Peter Nicholl. During the two days stay the representatives of the Central Bank of BH will inform the officials of the Bank of Albania on the functioning of the RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlements) and Gyro clearing systems, and on the other important segments of the CBBH operation.
In order to get familiar with the functioning of the new payments system, representatives of Bank of Slovenia visited Central Bank of BH on February. Visit of the delegation of Macedonian Service for Payments System is expected for tomorrow (February 27, 2001), and visit of the Central Bank of Bulgaria representatives on March.
