Results of the Police Investigation on Fire in the BH Central Bank Building Will be Known Next Week

On December 1, 2000 (Friday) around 17h15 min the fire struck out in one room of the Service for Financial - Book Keeping Operations of the Department for Accounting of the Central Bank of BH in Sarajevo. In the moment, when the fire struck out, nobody was in the room. The workers of the CBBH Security service immediately started with the prevention of spreading. They were soon joined by Professional Fire Brigade from Sarajevo. The fire was prevented of spreading from the room where it struck out, and it was extinguished in few minutes. All documentation, including the floppies in the room was saved. Furniture, three (3) computers, two (2) printers, one (1) copying machine, one (1) taping machine and few installation cables were destroyed in the fire. It is expected that the results of the police investigation, firstly, on the cause of the fire, will be known by the beginning of the next week.
