NBBH Deposits at the FBH Payment Bureau Will be Frozen on July 16

This is to advise that, WMD Consulting Services, Inc., Liquidator of the National Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, informed Mr. Maruf Burnazovic, General Director of the Zavod za platni promet Federacije, that all deposits placed by the ZPP with the National Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been frozen as of the close of business, July 16th, 1998. This action involves the deposits of approximately 9,000 government entities within Bosnia and Herzegovina and approximately 19,800 non-governmental depositors. Mr. William Dudley, on behalf of the Liquidator, WMD Consulting Services Inc., will hold a news conference to answer questions from all interested news media on Friday, July 17th 1998 at 15:00. The news conference will be held in the main conference hall on the second floor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina building, Maršala Tita 25.
