Meeting Between the CBBH and Banking Agencies Held

The Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Mr. Peter Nicholl, acting with the approval of the CBBH Governing Board has appointed Kemal Kozaric as the new Bosniac Vice Governor, term to begin as of January 1st, 2000. A 43 year old husband and father of two, Mr. Kozaric has outstanding credentials and experience in the international and domestic banking market in BiH and is currently the Minister of Finance for the Canton Sarajevo. A former deputy director and executive director at the private bank, Central Profit banka d.d. Sarajevo where he worked for 15 years, Mr. Kozaric graduated with an economics degree from the University of Economy at Sarajevo where he studied business and marketing.

Mr. Kozaric will assume the position of Vice Governor in charge of Research and Development and also undertake the numerous Financial Reform issues that up until now have been handled and coordinated by the Office of the Governor.

Dr. Enver Backovic will, until further notice, continue to be a paid staff member of the CBBH, but he has been removed from the Office of Vice Governor.
