Governor Nicholl on Meetings in the West Herzegovina Canton

The Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, (CBBH) Mr. Peter Nicholl and the Prime Minister of the West-Herzegovina County, Mr. Barisa Colak met yesterday in Siroki Brijeg to negotiate the acceptance of the KM in the Herzegovina region. Governor Nicholl said that the meeting was very positive. The Governor of the CBBH, Mr. Peter Nicholl received support from Prime Minister Barisa regarding the promotion of the KM in the Herzegovina region. Mr. Barisa said that all progress in the Federation of BIH depends on the future reform of the banking system and the payment system the return of local heavy industry and production. Mr. Barisa added that he supports the increase use of the KM trough the Herzegovina region. The CBBH delegation also had a meting with the directors of the Splitska banka d.d. The CBBH delegation considers the negotiations over the acceptance of the KM in Croatia as very positive. More information will be released on Monday, April 26,1999.
