Foreign Exchange Reserves Exceeded Five Million US Dollars at the End of 2007

The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) for the first time exceeded five billion of US Dollars at the end of 2007.

Namely, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) concluded 2007 year with KM 6, 69 billion  (EUR 3, 42 billion or USA dollars 5, 03 billion) of foreign exchange reserves, which was the amount as of 31 December 2007. 

Compared to the end of 2006, when they amounted to KM 5, 45 billion, the foreign exchange reserves increased by KM 1,24 billion last year.

The free foreign exchange reserves amounted to KM 380 million at the end of 2007.
