Austrian Ambassador visited the CBBH 7/18/2008 Tweet Economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was one of the topics in discussion of the Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) Kemal Kozarić and Austrian Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina Werner Almhofer, who visited the CBBH today, on 18 July 2008.In discussion with the Ambassador, Governor emphasized importance of presence of Austrian banks in BH market, which have contributed to the development of the banking sector, as well as, to the return of BH citizens' confidence in the banks. He also mentioned the professional cooperation with the National Bank of Austria and its printing house OeBS.The Austrian Ambassador expressed interest in work of the CBBH, especially emphasizing the importance of the CBBH independence from political influences. He also asked about direct foreign investments, as well as, about the role of the CBBH in Fiscal Council of BH, in which the CBBH has observer role and with its data and analysis will support the work of this Council.
