Ambassador of Kingdom of Netherlands Visited CBBH

Ambassador of Kingdom of Netherlands to Bosnia and Herzegovina Karel E. Vosskühler, with his associates visited today, on February 24, 2009 the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina and on this occasion he expressed his country's support  to this institution and its work.

During the conversation with the CBBH Governor Kemal Kozarić and his associates, the Netherlands Ambassador pointed out the activities of the Netherlands within the World Bank/IMF Constituency chaired by the Netherlands, and to which Bosnia and Herzegovina belongs too, pointing out that within the Constituency the cooperation should be strengthened. The delegation, also presented the proposals for the technical assistance of the Netherlands to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and also announced the visits of Dutch experts to our country, in order to discuss support to the State-level financial institutions of B&H.

The Governor Kozarić pointed out that the economic situation in country, especially in the light of the economic crises which has been reflected in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Especially he pointed out the need that this year the fiscal balance is achieved.

Considering the important inflow of funds from the international institutions such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the World Bank, Governor Kozarić pointed out the importance of their stay and future activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which would have   positive influence on foreign investors and future economic activities in the country.
