Ambassador of Republic of France visited CBBH 4/20/2009 Tweet Today, on 20 April 2009, Ambassador of the Republic of France in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Her Excellency Mrs. Maryse Berniau with the associates, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina and on this occasion expressed support of its country to this institution and its work. In the course of discussion with the Governor of the CBBH, Kemal Kozarić and his associates, the French Ambassador emphasized the interest for the activities of the CBBH, related to the banking and real sector in BH. The Governor emphasized that monetary stability, based on currency board arrangement, is the main factor that mitigates the risk of global market crisis effects on financial stability and public finances of BH. He has in particular emphasized the importance of achieving a fiscal sustainability of budgets at all levels in this year. The Governor has also emphasized that, according to the assessments of the international credit rating agency Standard & Poor's, credit rating of BH remained stable, B+ with stable outlook, which represents encouraging and positive sign for our country.
