Ambassador of Islamic Republic Pakistan Visited the CBBH

H. E. Saleem Jauhar, the Ambassador of Islamic Republic Pakistan to BH, with his assistant, visited the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) on December 1, 2009, and he exchanged the information on the economic situation in two countries with the Governor Kemal Kozarić, Ph.D..

Also, they talked about possibilities of stronger economic cooperation between Pakistan and BH and their monetary institutions. Governor Kozarić pointed out the economic situation in BH, and he stressed, that, in line with projections, BH will perform the 0,5% economic growth during the next year, while the stronger economic recovery is expected in 2011.

During the discussion, the need of bigger volume trade between BH and Asian countries especially Pakistan, was stressed. The trade between these countries was assessed as modest. The Ambassador of Pakistan was also interested in possibilities of Pakistan banks' entering to the BH financial market.

The Ambassador of Pakistan offered to Governor Kozarić the cooperation in training area, attending of seminars and organizing of staff study visits to the monetary institutions of two countries.
