Ambassador of Kingdom of the Netherlands Visited the CBBH

On November 12, 2012, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in BH Jurriaan Kraak, accompanied by Ellen van Reesch, Deputy Head of Mission, visited the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH), and discussed the current economic situation with the Governor, Kemal Kozarić, Ph.D.

The collocutors expressed their pleasure with the traditionally good relations between Kingdom of the Netherlands and BH. Also, Ambassador Kraak stressed the commitment of the Government of Netherlands in assisting BH on its way to the Euro-Atlantic integration. The Ambassador was interested in the macroeconomic situation in BH, the situation in the banking sector, and the meeting the requirements from the Stand-by Arrangement of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Governor Kozarić explained to his guests the CBBH model of operations of and its role in conducting the monetary policy. The Governor also introduced the Ambassador with the CBBH manner of cooperation with the fiscal authorities, presented him the macroeconomic indicators, and the indicators for the banking sector, where he especially emphasized good capital adequacy of BH commercial banks, but also the issue  of NPLs.
