Ambassador of the Republic of Italy Visited the CBBH

Ambassador of the Republic of Italy Ruggero Corrias has visited on January 29, 2014, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) where he met Governor, Kemal Kozarić, Ph.D.

Italian Ambassador was interested in the impact of Stand-by Arrangement with the IMF on economic trends in BH and the CBBH projections for 2014. He particularly pointed out the existence of great interest of Italian companies for investing in infrastructure projects, and also the interest of banks in Italian ownership operating in BH in supporting projects related to cultural cooperation of the two countries.  During the discussion, Ambassador Corrias has expressed his impression that the CBBH has a good reputation both in BH and Italy.

 

Governor Kozarić welcomed the Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the CBBH and wished the Ambassador a successful work. During the discussion, Governor Kozarić informed Ambassador Corrias on macroeconomic data for BH and stressed a significant contribution of banks in Italian ownership operating in our country. Also, Governor  pointed out that it is very important for BH that there is an interest in further investments in Vc corridor and energy related projects, which should contribute to the economic growth of BH in 2014.
