Russian Ambassador emphasized the great interest to promote economic cooperation and he stressed that, thanks to continuous investment projects in recent years, the Russian Federation has joined five largest foreign investors in Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the data available from the end of 2013, the investment position of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to BAM 669.9 million, and data on flows of foreign investment shows that investment during the first three quarters of 2014 amounted to BAM 186.3 million.

However, the ambassador emphasized that Russian businessmen often have objections to the complicated procedures related to business operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that their simplification would provide a space for further improvement of economic relations and would contribute to creation of the better environment for local, as well as foreign investors.

Both sides stressed that the monetary authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Russian Federation have very good relationships through active cooperation through the Club of Governors of Central Banks of Central Asia, Black Sea Region and Balkan countries.

At the end of the visit, the Governor organized for the ambassador a short tour of the banknotes museum in the premises of the CBBH.
