The Governor of the CBBH received the Management of NLB Bank 3/9/2021 Tweet On March 9, 2021, the Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH), Senad Softić, Ph.D. received in a working visit the NLB Bank delegation, led by the first man of the NLB Group Blaž Brodnjak, accompanied by the Deputy President of NLB Banka d.d., Sarajevo Boštijan Kovač and the President of the Management Board of NLB Banka d.d. Sarajevo, Lidija Žigić. Developments in the banking sector, business and challenges in a pandemic are some of the topics discussed during the meeting. Governor Softić informed the delegation about the competence and work of the CBBH, as well as, the changes brought by the crisis caused by the pandemic. “Improvements in the payment systems of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Registries located in the CBBH, and increasing the scope and comprehensiveness of statistical data collected by the CBBH, represent a significant assistance to policy makers and the commercial banking sector in making better business decisions,” said Governor Softić. Boštijan Kovač positioned NLB as a strategic partner to the business community and the population of BH. The well-being and improvement of the client's quality of life, a responsible approach to nature and resources and digitalisation are at the top priorities of this Bank's agenda. The Governor highlighted the successful cooperation so far, respecting the results and commitment of NLB Bank, welcoming the development plans.
