Today, on December 6, 2023, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Pošte Srpske a.d. Banja Luka promoted a commemorative post stamp, in Banja Luka, that Pošte Srpske a.d. Banja Luka issued on the 25th anniversary of the convertible mark existence as a legal tender of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The promotion was held in the building of the Main Bank of the Republika Srpska Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina Banja Luka, in the presence of representatives of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Pošte Srpske a.d. Banja Luka. The stamp was printed in a circulation of 10,000 series with a nominal value of KM 1.10. The author of this philatelic edition is the graphic designer of Pošte Srpske Mr. Nebojša Đumić. Pošte Srpske also issued a FDC envelope in a circulation of 300 copies worth KM 5.30. In this way, Pošte Srpske, whose philatelic editions are largely dedicated to marking significant dates and jubilees in Bosnia and Herzegovina, contributed to the celebration of 25 years anniversary of the convertible mark introduction as the single monetary unit in our country. Director of the Main Bank of the Republika Srpska CBBH, Mr. Zoran Babić expressed his gratitude to the company Pošte Srpske a.d. Banja Luka for spotting this proper moment in its own way, by issuing a post stamp, and thus contributed to the promotion of the convertible mark. "With the creativity of the post stamp designers, the convertible mark banknotes were presented in an interesting way, and as such, the post stamp will be particularly interesting to philatelists," said Director Babić. Executive Director for ICT Development, Sales and Marketing of Pošte Srpske, Mr. Zoran Protić expressed his satisfaction that Pošte Srpske, with the creative solution of the post stamp, prepared in cooperation with the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, permanently preserved part of the heritage that illustrates the values of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to Mr. Protić, the post stamp is one of the key symbols of the post itself, and it is still used today as a means of paying of postal services, but also as the best form of promotion of our country, because via post stamps we inform people all over the world about cultural, sports' and historical events in our country.
