Visit of the Finance and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives of BH Parliament 5/20/2024 Tweet Today, on May 20, 2024, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted members of the Finance and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliamentary Assembly. The Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jasmina Selimović, Ph.D., and Vice Governors Ernadina Bajrović, M.A., Marko Vidaković, M.Sc and Željko Marić, Ph.D thanked for the visit of high officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliamentary Assembly, and informed them about the activities of the CBBH, business results and challenges. This was an opportunity for the leaders of the CBBH to present to the members of the Finance and Budget Committee the CBBH Annual Report for 2023 and the Financial Statements for 2023, which will soon be on the agenda of the sessions of Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliamentary Assembly. According to the Financial Statements, in 2023, the CBBH achieved a net profit in the amount of KM 278,261,211.49, which is the record profit of the Bank since its establishment. Part of the realized profit in the amount of KM 64,319,561.58 was paid to the account of the institution responsible for the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is, to the corresponding deposit account of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Committee supported the professional and responsible work of the CBBH, stressing that, at the current moment, stability, its role and contribution are of key importance for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Finance and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives of BH Parliamentary Assembly, which visited the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, included the Chair of the Committee, Mia Karamehić-Abazović, First Deputy Chair Aida Baručija, Second Deputy Chair Mira Pekić, members Šemsudin Dedić, Rejhana Dervišević, Predrag Kožul, Nermin Mandra, Ljubica Miljanović and Miroslav Vujičić.
