The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain visited the CBBH

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, H.E. María Teresa Lizaranzu Perinat visited the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH), where she held a meeting with the Governor Jasmina Selimović, Ph.D.

During the meeting, the interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the traditionally good bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Spain and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Ambassador emphasized her desire to contribute to the continuation of this tradition of good relations through her future work in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In her conversation with the Ambassador, Governor Selimović emphasized the importance of the currency stability, which was achieved thanks to the currency board, and its contribution to the country's financial stability.

Also, the Governor presented the current and future activities of the CBBH, with special focus on the positive financial results achieved by the CBBH thanks to the timely and successful restructuring of the portfolio of foreign exchange reserves in accordance with policy changes in the euro area.

The Governor highlighted the successful cooperation of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina with The Banco de España (Central Bank of Spain) through the ESCB Regional Program IPA, and expressed her desire to strengthen cooperation in the future.

This meeting is a symbol of continued support and cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Spain, and it emphasizes the joint commitment to strengthening economic stability and the integrity of the financial system.
