CBBH hands over two special vehicles to the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BH

The Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jasmina Selimović, Ph.D. visited the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, today, where a ceremonial handover of two special vehicles was held, which the Central Bank of BH provided for use to the Directorate. On this occasion, Governor Selimović handed over the keys to these vehicles to the Director of the Directorate, Enes Karić.

This handover was carried out on the basis of an agreement between the Directorate and the Central Bank of BH, which stipulates that the Central Bank, in accordance with the agreement reached, provides the Directorate with material and technical resources – vehicles and certain equipment necessary for ensuring the transport of cash.

At the meeting, held  at this occassion,  Director Karić, together with Deputy Đuro Knežević and associates, thanked for the provided vehicles, which would be of great help to officials in the efficient performance of operations and tasks within the competence of the Directorate.

Karić presented the activities aimed at building and strengthening the capacities of the Directorate, as well as activities included in the Strategic Plan for the Development of the Directorate related to strengthening communication, coordination and cooperation with both the police bodies in BH and the international partners. He emphasized that one of the permanent goals and priorities of the Directorate is strengthening material and technical capacities, as well as preserving the security system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Governor Selimović emphasized that this model of cooperation is another step in strengthening the capacities of the security sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, enabling better coordination and protection of key resources.

"Security and stability are priorities of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and through such initiatives we strengthen institutions that play a key role in preserving the security system. This cooperation enables more efficient and secure transportation of cash, and we will continue to provide support to institutions with which we share common goals and responsibilities," Governor Selimović emphasized.
