The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) reminds citizens that, since April 1, 2010, the commercial banks will not accept banknotes in denominations of KM 5.

Since  January 1, 2010, the KM 5 banknotes have not been used as the legal tender for transactions and any liabilities settlement. Commercial banks have continued to accept them, and the CBBH has taken them over from the commercial banks. After March 31, 2010, the banks will not accept the banknotes of KM 5.
